On Friday last week Governor Northam announced new restrictions related to limiting the size of private and public gatherings to 25, expanding the mask mandate to include children age 5 and up, and strengthening enforcement at retail businesses. Fortunately, we have had a strict interpretation of requirements from the beginning, and we were already in compliance with the changes that were made. The gathering size does not apply to educational settings; however, we have been keeping our group in-person meetings below 20 if they are inside. We also will continue to require staff and students at all levels (even the preschool) to wear masks while on campus.
