Pandemic Fatigue

Last week Dr. Molly O’Dell, who is leading the pandemic response for the Roanoke and Allegheny Health Districts, reported that many new COVID-19 cases can be traced to weddings, funerals, baby showers, parties and co-workers dropping their guard.

We know that everyone is getting tired of isolating and not being able to see family and friends. We also recognize the importance of being together at school for academic consistency and social-emotional development. Please help us continue to be safe and in session on-campus and consider your social activities carefully. The keys to staying healthy remain the same: wear a face covering, wash your hands and avoid crowds especially indoors.

If your child has symptoms or anyone in your family has symptoms of COVID-19, do not send your children to school. Err on the side of caution and stay home.
